From child to adulthood we go through many ups and downs. We make decisions we are proud of and many we second guess. Our self esteem is built up or tore down; our egos are tested; our experiences render our decisions. We are defined and labeled by our image, our background, decisions we make, and how others perceive us. Some get labeled as the next prodigy, and others a black sheep.
Black sheep: he said, she said, they said. A bad seed that has no chance at a good life. No hope for a bright future. No plans to succeed and nothing to contribute but negativity to the community.
Not me, not you, not anyone. Don't let a label define you and who you are as a human being. Life will always have trials and tribulations - that is what builds our character, it can create fear, but it will also gift us with happiness and love. We are labeled by our peers, the community, the public; even our own family - but it is up to us to turn our back and make a pivotal change. It is easier said than done but it can be done. The road is harder than it seems and people may be left behind; not everyone is meant to go the distance with you. Appreciate those that you meet along the way, and learn lessons from the mistakes you make.
